One last Autumn...

Autumn Journal

September has come and I wake
And I think with joy how whatever, now or in the future,
the system
Nothing whatever can take
The people away, there will always be people
For friends or for lovers though perhaps
The conditions of love will be changed and its vices
diminished
And affection not lapse
To narrow possessiveness, jealousy founded on vanity.
September has come, it is hers
Whose vitality leaps in the autumn,
Whose nature prefers
Trees without leaves and a fire in the fireplace;
So I give her this month and the next
Though the whole of my years should be hers who has
rendered already
So many of its days intolerable or perplexed
But so many more so happy;
Who has left a scent on my life and left my walls
Dancing hair is twined in all my waterfalls
And all of London littered with remembered kisses.
So I am glad
That life contains her with her moods and moments
More shifting and more transient than I had
Yet thought of as being integral to beauty;
Whose mind is like the wind on a sea of wheat,
Whose eyes are candour,
And assurance in her feet
Like a homing pigeon never by doubt diverted.
To whom I send my thanks
That the air has become shot silk, the streets are music,
And that the ranks
Of men are ranks of men, no more of cyphers.
So that if now alone
I must pursue this life, it will not be only
A drag from numbered stone to numbered stone
But a ladder of angels, river turning tidal.
Off-hand, at times hysterical, abrupt,
You are one I shall always remember,
Whom cant can never corrupt
Not argument disinherit.
Frivolous, always in a hurry, forgetting the address,
Frowning too often, taking enormous notice
Of hats and backchat- how could I assess
The thing that makes you different?
You whom I remember glad or tired,
Smiling in drink or scintillating anger,
Inopportunely desired
On boats, on trains, on roads when walking.
Sometimes untidy, often elegant,
So easily hurt, so readily responsive,
To whom a trifle could be an irritant
Or could be balm and manna.
Whose words would tumble over each other and pelt
From pure excitement,
Whose fingers curl and melt
When you were friendly.
I shall remember you in bed with bright
Eyes or in a cafe stirring coffee
Abstractedly and on your plate the white
Smoking stub your lips had touched with crimson.
And I shall remember how your words could hurt
Because they were so honest
And even your lies were able to assert
Integrity of purpose.
And it is on the strength of knowing you
I reckon generous feeling more important
Than the mere deliberating what to do
When neither the pros nor cons affect the pulses.
And though I have suffered from your special responses,
I should be proud if I could evolve at length
An equal thrust and pattern.

Little pieces of joy...

To clarify one subject I do work in a little Macaron place... Indeed, the shop is all about the macarons, but we've got plenty more! Between the lemon pie, the eclairs, the gelatos but also chocolates!
My favorite little piece of joy has to be the gelato. It's rather better than ice cream, it's milkier which let's be honest is rich but delicious!

So here is the list of gelatos that we offer!

*Coconut/ dark chocolate
(There are bits of chocolate in the gelato making the coconut taste even more amazing!)
*Arabic Coffee
(This has to be one of my two favorites! I cannot explain how the coffee tastes in this gelato, you just have to come and try it for yourself.)
*Dark Chocolate
(Very rich, don't be surprised on wanting just a small cup of this gelato.)
*Violet
(The most popular one we've got! Everyone is curious because the light purple color is rather interesting!)
*Vanilla
(Classic, but that's my favorite gelato beside the coffee one! It is beyond delicious.)
*Pistachio
(Everyone wants this one, but it is quite good if you are into pistachio.)
*Tiramisu
( I love the dessert, the Italian dessert, and it makes kids wants some!)
*Mint Chocolate
(It went away quite fast! Popular!)
*Speculoos
(A new arrival, soon coming, so be ready for a new flavor!)

Sobers

*Mango
(You can really taste the fruit as it is mango! If you are a fan, please do it and mix it up with a gelato! You won't be disappointed it!)
*Lemon
(Very lemony, very sour, but OH MY! Go for it! )

The chocolate list! They do look very candy like and beautiful but they are eatable!

*Salted Caramel
(Popular chocolate, thanks to my mum, they are going to be gone soon.)
*Lime Coconut
(Half macaron looking chocolate, green and pretty.)
*Cranberry
(Do not be afraid, it doesn't have that strong cranberry taste, I'm usually not a fan of the fruit, but the chocolate is really good.)
*Dark Chocolate
(It's plain dark chocolate and many people love it!)
*Orange
(This one is one that looks like candy! The top shell is beyond colorful!)
*Jasmine tea
(You're a fan of tea, go for it!)
*Banana Rum
(Quite different, wonderful!)
*Raspberry
(Another looking half macaron shape chocolate, pink and deliciously amazing! It's my favorite fruit so I cannot ignore this little chocolate.)
*Pineapple
(Another looking half macaron shape chocolate, yellow/orange, one that doesn't last long in a bag!)
*Red Berry/ Cherry
(Red look half circle which looks great, and taste great!)
*Passion Fruit
(My favorite! Go and get it!)

After these lists, you cannot ignore the fact that sweets are calling you!

Places I go...

I guess it is time for me to reveal where I started working a few weeks ago, not that it does matter, but I rather quite enjoy working there! It's not as stressful as it may seem...

Le Macaron, French pastries. Sweet place, amazing bosses, and to be fairly honest, the customers aren't half way bad! It's common to have the annoying ones, but not as many as you may think!
I'm sure I'll have plenty stories to write about when I get more into the work, for now, it's being rather easy, already learned pretty much everything that I needed to know, obviously, there are still a few things that I need to check up and learn.
It's been nice to have some type of employment, somewhere I can also write whenever I'm alone and not busy!
Get a few conversations on with people that approach me for various reasons. The last one was a woman who was sitting down on little sofas, where I sit by in front of the GameStop. We were both on the phone, so instead of joining the little spot, I waited on both of our calls to end before I asked if I could sit down next to her. Nicely enough, she joked about the sofas being all of hers. Made me laugh quite a bit, and we started conversing. Got her card with her information, now I've got to text! She was really enjoyable to talk to, funny and intelligent! It changes from people I see around and talk to.

With this new little job, I need to become social, almost the opposite of what I usually do. Being talkative can be hard enough that I sometimes wish I didn't have to talk to customers. It makes me have a filter on what I should say and not say. Giving me the opportunity to grow up on the talkative side of me, letting me become a woman who knows when to not be honest in certain cases, just in case I don't hurt others in the process. Quite hard when you are used to be sarcastic enough to come out brutally honest. This little job as little as it may be helps me a lot more than anything before. I get to write whenever I have free time, I get to make customers smile at times, and the best part is that it actually helps me realize that I can get tips from not been too honest and smiling. It's the first time I'm actually going to work happy. There is even a British man who I see each time I work, sitting down with his book. Last time at work, I went to him with samples, offered him some macaron, and went on my way. He now looks at me through the door of the shop and says hello with= a wave of his hat. Making friends is always fun!

When people say, "Find a job that makes you smile by just waking up in the morning. A job that you enjoy doing every time you go." I think I discovered the pleasure of going to work, getting paid, making people smile, and waking up in the morning telling myself "It's going to be a good day!"
If you don't know me, you have to know I hate mornings, it's a nightmare to wake me up and emerge from my sleeping state. It's one of the rare times where I catch myself telling myself such a thing. I'm quite a negative person in general, and this time, I'm catching myself feel different about the situation!

Little plus of working is I get to wake up early so my mum drops me off at the same time as my brothers. I walk to a coffee shop and get that writing on! Getting that breakfast on as well, making myself eat a little before I have a long day at work.
Going to work may be an enjoyable thing for me, but it's mostly for my mum that I do it all. She needs support, help, whatever she can get and honestly, it is hard to deal with but it's family... Can't just run away from duties!
