Black tea is the most popular form of tea in the West and accounts for more than half of the world's tea consumption.

Darjeeling-
Dubbed the "champagne of teas" this tea grows high in the foothills of the Himalayas. Known for its floral aroma, delicate flavors, and light color, Darjeeling's "first flush" (or first harvest of spring) is perhaps the most prized tea in the world.

Assam-
This deep and malty flavored black tea grows in India. It is full-bodied, dark, and bold with a character that is well suited for breakfast teas.

Keemun-
This well-known Chinese black tea boasts a beautiful amber liquor. It is rich, smoky, and sweet with notes of cocoa and fruit.

Ceylon-
This black tea from Sri Lanka bears notes of citrus and spice. It is known for its fresh, lively character that balances bolder black teas to create well-rounded blends.

English Breakfast Tea-
This English black tea blend traditionally used Chinese Keemun black tea as its base but now mainly uses Indian Assma. Drinkers often add milk and sugar to give it a sweet, bready flavor that complements scones and sweets perfectly.

Earl Grey-
Created for and named after Charles Grey (2nd Earl Grey) of 19th century England, this black tea is flavored with oil of bergamot, giving it distinct notes of citrus. Earl Grey is one of the most popular flavored teas in the world.

Chai-
This black tea from India is spiced with flavors such as cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, anise, and ginger. It is often blended with sweetened (and sometimes frothy) milk. Smooth and creamy with aromas that evoke autumn and winter, chai has become a holiday favorite in the West. "

More... More...

More songs, more artists, more art!

My music taste varies quite a lot, too much, too often but I have to admit I'm a bit more drawn to British artists, more indie pop, and fun to listen to. Now, I also have my Italian music I will listen to constantly, but for over a month now I've been enjoying listening to these songs, artists. One group, Weathers are actually from Los Angeles, California. Four guys in an alternative indie band which isn't too old...

And the other band which is five guys formed back in 2013 from Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. Still unknown to the American community, I personally adore them! You can say it's my style, something I'll listen to every minute of every day.

I'm the indie type of lady who listens to almost everything but prefers to be odd and to listen to people who aren't too famous. Even though I adore my punk rock, pop music, indie has been there for me through tough times.

Little bits of sunshine!

Since I've been working in Le Macaron, I've been enjoying these little ones to bits. It's quite fun to taste a few, each one is different, making each tasting marvelous!
I thought maybe you would enjoy my opinion on them, note that each of them is amazingly delicious in their own ways! They aren't here to please everyone so if you have a bad experience with one, it doesn't mean you will have the same experience with the rest. I can tell you already, they aren't here to disappoint anyone but to please you! Here is the list of the macaron with a little descriptive of them...

Something different, something tasty and unusual... Get the Rose! Another popular flavor that makes everyone think about getting another one or two. Don't think about not getting it, it would be a mistake!
