Little one... On the bed...

How many of you have a dog or many dogs?

I surely do not have one, but my best friend does... Charlie is a mix of Australian Shepherd and something else, not quite sure, I believe a Collie cause of his nose...

When I first met this little puppy, he was only four months old, but already jumpy, energetic, but smart. Affectionate me I can't just ignore and not give any cuddle to this fluffy little cuddler! Since I met Charlie, I can't get enough of him! Who can actually get enough of dogs...? They are the best cuddlers, feet warmer, and comforting balls of joy. They bring a smile on your face and even if some are too hyper, demanding, they will always know if something is wrong with you.

Each time Charlie comes over, I'm all over him, between the photos, the snuggles, and all the kisses. No one can resist a puppy this cute! I wake up for him in the morning (if he stays on my bed to sleep), I take care to see if he is warm enough, cozy enough, I even let him sleep on my Juventus blanket (that one is special), no one touches it!

I've meant to talk about Charlie, this little ball of joy for quite some times now, but I never really knew how to bring up this puppy that grows up every day. Until a couple of days ago... I kept seeing this quotes "Who needs a man when you can have a dog!"
It made me think of Charlie, right away, even if he isn't my puppy, whenever I get to see him, I feel calmer, happier! He makes me walk outside for quite sometimes as well, free exercise!

Younger, I had a boxer, a cute, energetic dog who broke my arm when I was five... Not a great experience, but I never stopped loving dogs. During my psychology courses, I've learned a few benefits that dogs may offer to the owner. Here are some:

*Your stress level will go down quickly!
I've seen it with Charlie, whenever I feel anxious, all I've got to do is look at him or pet him. Everything feels better right away.

*Welcome back to social life!
Surprised? I don't think so... Whenever you go outside to walk your dog, people look, people comment, and each time I've walked Charlie through town, I don't just have one person asking to pet him but three or more people. You meet new people, you converse, next thing you know, you made a new friend through your dog.

*You feel safer, protected!
Dogs know who is a good person and who isn't! Funny fact is whenever I walk Charlie, I always try to get him on the safe side, not the road one. Somehow, he manages to walk right to the unsafe side towards the road. I ended up telling myself he wanted to protect me, made me feel better about leaving him on that side.

*Say goodbye to depression!
Studies show that dog owners are less depressed than a person who doesn't own a dog, care for a dog. Having a dog around helps you relieve anger, sadness... They sense when you aren't feeling good... Charlie surely knows, and next thing I know, he is up to my face licking me. You can't help but smile!

I might not have my own dog, stealing away my best friend's, but I already know that later on in life whenever I have my own place, my family, I will make sure to have a dog around, I don't care what my partner will say, I'll make sure to marry someone who isn't allergic and I will get a Bernese Mountain Dog! Big and fluffy!

Don't be judgmental, please...

I'm writing this post as of Thursday 21st, 2016 at 6:30 P.M. or 18:30 for today Friday the 22nd.

First off, I'm a bit tipsy, maybe a little more than just a "bit", but I can still write so keep your comments to yourself! Give me a break!

Thursday:  After waking up to my mum's messages of an old journal of mine with no pages inside whatsoever, I knew that the day was going to be "bollocks", completely "shitty". If you have to know, it was my second journal, the one I had when I was 7 years old, and my father who doesn't care that it is private used it against my mother for the divorce. Since then I haven't seen it, he kept it, until my brother who wanted to be nice took it without looking inside. He should have, but yeah, no pages, all ripped out from the cover. I'm still feeling sick about it, and it's also one of the reasons I wanted to forget about the day!

So no matter what, I got up, took a shower, and went to grab a yogurt type of bowl at a cafe. It was rather good, I believe there is some more in the fridge which is amazing:), and my mum called... Ended up skyping with everyone, got to see my younger brothers, which made me smile big. That part was quite nice until my dear mum decided to show me the goodies from Europe... It made me miss the food a lot more than usual like I wasn't feeling bad enough already. She had to make it worse... Thank you mum for that! Then I opened a bottle of white wine that turned up more to be bubbly, not a fan! But it did get me tired, and since I needed to forget a few things from the morning, I decided to lay on the couch in front of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
I fell asleep for 30 minutes, but my problems and the shitty day didn't go by very fast! It was rather disappointing.
Days like these shouldn't exist! Honestly!
As it is the evening, I'm supposed to cook myself some food for dinner, but a shitty day like this means candy and wine... Great mix, you should try it! Hopefully, I don't have a massive headache tomorrow when I wake up from my short night. And let's wish I don't forget to post this one when I wake up on Friday, today!
The funny fact is that I've got a drunk playlist on my Itunes, and I can't sing along to any of the songs except "Snap Out Of It from Artic Monkeys". It's one of the most listened, watch the clip!

I'm actually starting to think I'm more than just tipsy!
Ps: I had to delete a bunch of people on my Instagram so if I accidently unfollowed you, it's an accident, don't take it personally, I will try to get everyone I like back when sober up. So not when I'm writing this post! For some odd reason, I followed people that didn't interest me whatsoever so clean up time for drunk little me! :)

Being drunk is a funny feeling! Everyone react kind of differently, I know one of my friends got very sad and would cry like a baby, and there would be nothing to cheer him up. It was quite annoying! Then you have the aggressive one, the one that starts picking fights for no apparent reason... I've seen a couple of them, one was just too drunk that when he tried punching the person in front of him he missed and hit the wall next the guy. It was hilarious to watch, but sad... I never got to know if he was alright. Hopefully... Next, is the goofy one... I'm kind of goofy when drunk, it's part of how I'm drunk. We laugh at EVERYTHING without exception! Actually, I played a video game last time, I'm usually the type to set off quickly and get frustrated, angry, but when I'm drunk, I'm just "Oh, that missed..." It's funny because I laugh most the time and don't see the mistakes and why I lose. The one that is also like me is the affectionate one. Alright, not the one that goes all sexual on you, and takes her
blouse off... I mean it could happen, but no! The affectionate ones are just sweet and cuddly, more open minded to be in people's arms, to curl up like babies. They are innocent, no violence and usually hilarious to watch cause it happens, we become babies... Watch out for us!
Some people black out completely, and the next day it's all a blur. It happened to me once at a friend's house.... Too much vodka and I threw up everywhere. He cleaned up and put me to bed... Next day, I was covered in bruises from bumping everywhere, and my hair was wet... I managed to be in a shower at 5 in the morning, drunk, sick... I don't recall anything except falling down on the bathroom floor, and having the dog following me. That's about it, for more information you should ask the friend that took care of me. I'll always be grateful for what he did! A Little tip, don't over drink even sad... You don't know where you will end up the next day! I've got lucky to have a really good friend!

Alright, alright,  it's getting too long, too much to read, sorry, when I'm drunk I can write for hours... Blame the alcohol, not me... It's not my fault! It's the crappy day! Thursday the 21st isn't as amazing as it looked, sunny and hot!

Oh you sound different...

An accent is the prominence of a syllable in terms of differential loudness, or of the pitch, or length, or of a combination of these. It's a way of pronunciation particular to a speaker or group of speakers. There are different accents... The phonetics, linguistics, poetry, diacritic, fallacy, in music, computers... But today I'm only talking about the way we, speakers,  pronounce words, phrases.

As I've told already, I'm from Europe so I'm getting used to the whole accent idea.

Many countries have their own different accents and languages.
I currently live in California, USA, and I can tell you already that they have an accent. I may be in the USA, but every state has their own accents. They speak differently, not a huge difference, but it is there.
I have couple friends who come from different countries, and every one of them, have a specific accent that I pick up on easily.

It's been two years now that I figured out the odd way I speak. I'm not British, far from it, and yet I sometimes have the accent. According to a few people, I sound like Hermione Granger from Harry Potter. Don't assume I'm trying to sound like her because I don't. The movies were only watched in French so I wouldn't even know how she sounds like. I'm pretty sure it's because I watch a lot of British YouTubers. They have their expressions, the pronunciation is way different from the Californians. I picked up on a New Zealand accent, thanks to the YouTuber, bennymcnugget. He makes me laugh, and his accent is beyond hilarious for me. The way he says "bed", I mean, I find it cute and now I say it just like him.

I've learned that accents define who you are and where you come from. People can figure out what country you are from and if you are into the sophisticated world or not.

Funny little story, I was at a coffee shop last week, writing, minding my own business when behind me, two women were talking, loudly enough that I can recall all of their conversation, which was pretty boring. A young man came and asked if he could take the empty chair for his friend. He had a strong accent, sounded very Persian or Iranian. I couldn't tell well, but one of the women asked politely about his accent, and he froze. He didn't respond so his friend came to the rescue and told the woman where is was from. She looked sweet yet she didn't let him take the chair because she knew where he was from. I was baffled by the injustice that I took the chair that was in front of me and gave it to the poor guy who kindly thanked me.
The funny thing is the fact that people act a certain way when they hear a different accent and won't be as sweet as they look.
I'm not a fan of those accents, and I wouldn't try to even talk to them, but I'm not going to change my attitude because they sound different and come from a certain country. Discrimination at its finest!

When I look back this little injustice, it makes me want to stop talking because I'll be afraid someone is going to put me down because of my accent. So I try to hide it as much as I can, but honestly, I shouldn't! No one should hide the way they talk, you have an accent... LOVE IT, APPRECIATE IT, it makes you be sexy and different! Normal is boring, remember that. Being different is AWESOME! Don't hide who you are, embrace the fact that you don't sound like others. You are SPECIAL!
DO NOT TAKE OTHER'S PEOPLE COMMENT SERIOUSLY, IGNORE THEM! BE WHO YOU WANT TO BE!
